From the beginning...

Growing up, I have had the great fortune of experiencing an up-close glimpse of the media and entertainment industry. From taking 5 years of acting classes, to traveling for auditions beyond my small town of Litchfield, Connecticut, I thrived off of being in front of the camera. Years later, I applied this passion to the business side of film and television by studying Psychology, Pre-Business, and taking courses in Economics, English, and Acting at the College of the Holy Cross.

With my background in Psychology, I've studied humans' thoughts and tendencies, allowing me to write, present, and sell my creative ideas in a way that truly connects with others. After studying at Trinity College Dublin for a full year and writing an honors thesis on mixed race identity, I invest my time in understanding different people and cultures in order to create meaningful, diverse content that captures the attention and engages a wide range audience.

Current career path...

Throughout the past seven years, I have had the pleasure of working for top companies in the media and entertainment industry. Currently, I work for NBCUniversal in New York City as a Communications Manager for the Global Advertising & Partnerships division. Here, I help position the brand to both external press and clients and I help create initiatives to keep employees informed and connected.

 

Before NBCUniversal, I held writing and marketing positions at the Women's Sports Foundation, Votary Media (a marketing production company), and the New York City Triathlon, where I wrote digital content for social media and website pages, executed media events, created marketing campaigns for clients, developed relations with athletes and talent, and immersed myself in the media and entertainment industry. I hope to continue my path to success through my hard work, passion for television, and my enthusiasm to challenge myself every day.
